The Historic Maynooth College Cemetery Enhancement and Documentation Project was established in 2013 following an initiative by the College Class of 1963(Entry)/1966(Graduation)/1970(Ordination) in conjunction with the college authorities. It undertook the rehabilitation of gravesites and pathways, the documentation of all those buried there, the installation of heritage markers at important gravesites,  the installation of general guides to the cemetery layout and to the Pioneer Plot and the research and commissioning of a website.

The project is co-ordinated by Denis Bergin of the sponsoring class.
